Hi I'm Sarah Liu, founder of Out There Kitchen.

 

Inspired by the bold flavours from my hometown of Chongqing, I'm on a mission to bring you authentic Chinese regional cuisine with a modern touch.

I grew up in the spicy food capital of China, Chongqing. You may not have heard of it, but Chongqing is a city of 30 million people - 3 times the size of London 😲 

When I relocated to the UK at 15, I was amazed to find out many of the flavours I have grown up with were unavailable here.

 

At Out There Kitchen, we're bridging that gap by presenting the iconic street food dishes such as Chongqing Noodles (wildly popular in China) to the UK. To keep it real, some of our key ingredients such as chillies and peppercorns are sourced directly from China. We proudly craft our chilli oil in-house using natural ingredients, with a personal take on our family recipes, making traditions modern.
